IE SPYAD2 for ZonedOut
IE-SPYAD2 is an updated version of an older program called IE-SPYAD.
This program is different from the others reviews in this article in
that it has only one feature: it adds a list of known malicious sites
to your Internet Explorer Restricted Sites list. This prevents those
sites from doing nasty things, like redirecting your browser, resetting
your homepage, or displaying script-based popups. The nice thing about
this program it that it saves the user from having to discover and add
each of these sites him- or herself. It's all done for you.
This program works in Internet Explorer only - it is not compatible
with other browsers such as Opera or Firefox. It also requires users to
download and install ZonedOut, a small free Internet Explorer zone
management program. If you use Internet Explorer, though, it's a nice
small application that can help prevent big problems.
