Spyware Blaster

Spyware Blaster is a different sort of program than the others discussed so far. It is not a removal tool per se - it doesn't scan your computer or remove spyware. Instead, it dedicates itself solely to preventing spyware from ever being installed in the first place. It focuses mainly on stopping browser-based attacks and works best with Internet Explorer, although it can protect all browsers from attack. Spyware Blaster offers a wide variety of customization options, again mostly for Internet Explorer, that allow users to tweak their settings to their liking. It also offers a "system snapshot" function, which will remember the configuration of a system's most important settings and revert to them if the system is infected with spyware.
